Data Collection—clues about
organizational conditions can be found in its culture, communication networks,
decision-making processes, information flows, team dynamics, work technology,
and leadership. Information can be gleaned from a firm’s competitive
position, productivity, profitability, efficiency, satisfaction, adaptability,
and/or social responsibility activities. Data can be collected through
interviews, surveys, and focus groups, from records and with observation.
Analysis—study the processes and
behaviors that activate plans: membership behaviors, productive activities,
and adaptive actions. The analysis of organizational conditions must be
conducted in a comprehensive, systematic manner if all relevant issues are to
be identified and traced to underlying causes. The company’s performance can
be compared to benchmarks, best practices, industry standards, and/or
performance goals.
Facilitation—assisting leaders by
providing data, analysis, decision-support and coaching in their efforts to
anticipate opportunities and threats, arrange organizational conditions, act
in order to achieve effective outcomes, and to assess the impact of their
leadership.
Expertise—our services are based on
extensive business and organizational knowledge coupled with years of
experience in a range of organizations. We address problems that arise
externally to the firm, are rooted in the organizational structure, are
related to technology and tasks, or stem from difficulties in the internal
social system.
